Shirley Haines 1938-2009

Mrs. Shirley Williams, 70, 320 Wiltshire Drive, Gray, died Friday, May 15, 2009, at the Johnson City Medical Center.

Mrs. Williams was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County. She was the daughter of the late Cecil F. and Lorraine Burleson Haines. In addition to her parents one brother, Junior Haines, also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Williams was a former employee of Peoples Bank.

She was a member of Faith Tabernacle Church.

Survivors include her husband of forty seven years, Jack Williams, of the home; three sons, Tim Williams and his wife, Betty, of Johnson City, David Williams and his wife, Stephanie, of Gray and Daniel “Danny” Williams and his wife, Brenda, of Johnson City; one brother, Bill Haines and his wife, Joice, of Jacksonville, FL; two sisters, Martha Stines and Helen Etter, both of Johnson City; four grandchildren, Bailey Williams, Brittney Williams, James Williams and Savannah Williams.

The graveside service for Mrs. Shirley Williams will be conducted at 10:30 AM Monday, May 18, 2009, in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Reverend Harold Jones will officiate. Minister, family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 10:00 AM and travel in procession to the cemetery. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
